Who: Anyone interested in cultivating greater love for their neighbors and identifying simple, non-awkward ways of embodying God’s Kingdom in & through their home. The workshop will be limited to six participants.
What: A small group of like-minded individuals joining together for a one day workshop filled with teaching material, story sharing, exercises, and discussion time. We will spend a majority of our time walking through content from the Front Yard Mission book that is available for purchase here, if you are interested (purchase not required).
Where: 4200 Y Street (The Petersen house)
When: Saturday October 18th, 9AM-3PM.
Cost: $35/person to cover lunch & material costs.
Why: Many of us leave our neighborhoods to attend church or do ministry activities, but God intentionally placed each of us in our neighborhoods to love and serve those physically closest to us. We often face obstacles in this mission, whether we feel that we don’t have time, don’t want to make our neighbors a project, or maybe we don’t live in a place where we have neighbors. This workshop will address all of these obstacles and bring us together to inspire each other on how to fulfill the great commandment right where we live.
Register HERE by October 15th.
