Testimonies: "The Winter Retreat was an excellent time of community fun, and purposeful vision casting. With it being my first time attending I was a bit nervous because I didn't have lots of prior connections. Turns out, the connections were there waiting to be made there and I now have a shared experience with many people I now call friends and fellow missionaries. Plus late night games and inside jokes are abounding!" - Landon Bartel
"The Winter Retreat was great! It was a fun time with comfortable accommodations and plenty of space to relax, play, and learn new ways to engage with our community in a meaningful way." - Jessica Cardamone
"The Winter Retreat has become a sacred rhythm in my life. A time to slow down, rest, and listen more deeply. Each year, as the world quiets beneath winter's blanket, I find myself invited to do the same. The retreat offers space to pause, to breathe, and to simply be - with God, with others, and with myself.
There's something profoundly healing about being with people who are also seeking rest and renewal. We share stories, silence, laughter, and prayer. We listen to one another, and to the still, small voice that speaks in the spaces between words. In the simplicity, I begin to remember and reclaim what truly matters - family, identity, longing, and the gentle ways I'm being called into a new season.
I always leave with a deeper sense of peace, clarity, and connection - as if the soil of my own heart has been turned and made ready for new growth. This retreat is more than a few days away; it's a tender invitation back to connection, back to belonging, and to a quiet, steady shalom." - Matt Alberti
